"Eff the Recession" Sale at Astrokitty today

We all know how the media keeps going on and on about recession this and recession that. Fine. We get it. There's a war going on, there's a recession, and also a writer's strike. Things look grim, plus it's farking freezing out there! Gah!
What you all NEED, is a good amount of discount-priced escapist literature! Curl up with a good comic book (or comic books...as in multiple) and stay inside, whisking yourself away with everything from post-apocalyptic future (they have it REALLY bad), to crazy/lowbrow/indy humor (nothing's better than poop jokes at a time like this), to the usual decadent goodness of superhero slugfests!
So, today only...I'm selling all trade paperbacks at 20% off! All hardcovers at 20% off! Also, we re-arranged the store, so we have a huge amount of 1/2 off manga, not to mention 50 CENT back issues! Woot!
Also, we have a sweet new (to us) poster rack so posters today only are 1/2 off!
Action figures? Yes, we still have them...and they are all buy one get the second 1/2 off TODAY ONLY!
Well, hope to see you all here...if you get off after or at about 7pm, give us a call at 785-856-8607 to see if we're still open (we have Magic events Tuesday nights that keep us open past 7pm some nights)! If so, come on by!
