Saab goes to the doctor

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I posted about my "new" 1994 Saab 900S convertible blowing a head gasket? (Strangely, I can't find a photo of it! Looks like the red one in my icon, but it's green.) Well, I finally bit the bullet and sent it off to the Saab car doctor here in Lawrence, Bob's Imports. I'm looking forward to having my fun convertible back on the road for the warm weather, but not so much looking forward to the doctor bill.

Saab goes to the doctor

Kij out of surgery and doing well

Quick update for friends of kijjohnson: She's out of surgery for the torn ligament and is in recovery now. (If you haven't been following the drama-of-the-ankle, see her LJ for details on what happened.) The doc says all went swimmingly and she'll be out and about soon. weaselmom is taking care of her tonight. I'm sure she'll be climbing again by summer, whether or not she's supposed to ;-)
