Aw heck jus spray the door seals with WD40 and they won't freeze.

I figured out what was doing the start-up rr-rr thing. One of the back doors had frozen just a bit off-shut, not enough to set the Door Ajar light, but enough to keep the dome light on and drain the battery a little each time.

No problems now. Whew.
