Happy Holidays!

Here's wishing you a stress-free, fun, and joyous holiday season.

Hugs,
Chris

PS: Suprise! My mom and stepdad just came down to Lawrence. Mom was all sad that she wouldn't see either of her sons for Christmas, so she decided to just "drop in" from Omaha.

How wonderful!

What a marvelous surprise (I assume surprise).

Well now, it's a good thing Lydia made 20 pounds of ham, right? Plenty of food. Merry Christmas to all of you!

It's also a very good thing that I didn't know in advance she was coming down. Cooking the first meal for the S.O.'S mother is always stressful anyway. Add to that the fact that it was our Xmas dinner and I think I might've been a tad freaked out.

BTW, I'm not a giant fan of Sluggy Freelance, but that icon is beyond awesome.

Thank you! Bunbun is pretty funny, even though I never made it through reading much of Sluggy Freelance, either.

Well see, now the First Dinner Trauma is over almost painlessly, so that was a good Christmas present in and of itself. You have now fed them several times, so it's All Good.

Yes! I only burned two fingers during the entire meal prep time, so all in all, a very good year. =D

Happy fun surprises! Good thing you have all that ham!

Happy Holidays to you too, bud!

As holiday surprises go, that's not a bad one at all!

best,
Robin

Drop in from Omaha to Lawrence? Quite the trip!

On the other hand, it's probably not much worse a drive than my suburb to Seattle when rush hour and a major sports event coincide with road construction.

Yay! Say Hi to Momma from me. What a lovely surprise.
