Palin: Idiot or Slave to Talking Points?

Did you see the "debate" tonight between Sarah "I only say what's on my note cards" Palin and Joe "I'm embarrassed to be on the same stage as that woman" Biden? Yeah, then you know what I mean.

On an unrelated note, I thought I'd share this definition of Christianity:

The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie
who was his own father
can make you live forever
if you symbolically eat his flesh
and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master
so he can remove an evil force from your soul
that is present in humanity because a rib-woman
was convinced by a talking snake
to eat from a magical tree...

Sign me up for that SFnal craziness!

Chris

I was very disappointed in the moderator for not calling her on it when Palin said outright that she wasn't necessarily going to answer the questions, but rather was going to say "what Americans wanted to hear" or something like that. If I was the moderator (why doesn't anyone ever ask me to do this sort of thing? why???) I'd have said "Governor, I believe it's a strong possibility that Americans want to hear you answer the questions. Bitch!"

OK, maybe I'd have left off "bitch."

The McCain camp had already complained that the moderator was an Obama supporter, so she had to be on her toes. And yes, any moderator is going to support *some* candidate, but that was there complaint.
