JUST TOOK THE NEWPORT OUT FOR A SPIN! Woohoo! I flushed and bled the brakes, so now she stops, too (that didn't happen last night during an aborted attempt...).

I just test-fired my GS1000 today.

Something in the carbs wasn't sealed right and, well, there was external combustion. Thankfully I had my fire extinguisher handy!

ALMOST had the bike running, too -- it wanted to run but wasn't quite catching on its own.
