I just sold a story to Synergy (subtitle to be decided, won't be called Synergy 5), edited by George Zebrowski. It's especially exciting for me because I was beginning to worry that 2003 would go by without a fiction sale, and here's one in a hardcover anthology! Yay! The book is due out "mid-year."

The story is "The Enlightenment," a science-fantasy whose main character is based on the historical Cyrano de Bergerac, rather than the traditional fictional character. Cyrano's tale about "A Trip to the Moone" inspired me to write this one.

Woo!

Chris

Woo woo! This sounds like a celebration--with FOOD! We'll schedule something after New Year's.

Thanks, y'all! I'm so pleased that I didn't miss a year; would have felt like I was no longer a "real" writer.

Best,
Chris
