How interesting. Thank you.

Those stats about Ethopian marriages are pretty "wow" as well...over 70% are marriage-by-abduction?!

No kidding. Kinda makes one happy to live in a country like ours, even if it is ruled by the Bushites.

It's interesting to consider that a large portion of the statistics we come in contact with, of all sorts, should make us feel grateful to live in this country. Of alllll sorts.

I want a "child raised by animals, becomes lord of the jungle" story next, Chris. Can we have one? Huh? Can we? Can we?

Oh, yeah! And it'll be a boy, instead, so as not to worry about that girl stuff. And he'll come from a wealthy family, how about? And he'll be able to speak to the animals. And he shall be called Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle!

Since we're telling stories, perhaps the the lions were after some good PR. There numbers are down, a rescue story makes the public aware of their plight. The little girl grows up and her daughter is saved by lions. It's got disney all over it.

Hmmm... that might explain all the 35mm film cameras in place before the lion rescue....
