Tuesdays at "The Place Formerly Known as Raoul's"

Kij's birthday dinner-&-movie was such fun that I suggest we make Tuesdays at "The Place Formerly Known as Raoul's" (the EightOneFive) a regular gig. Here's the schedule for the next several weeks:

Usual Suspects
Blazing Saddles
Pulp Fiction (which is cool -- I first saw this movie on the other side of the block, the art-house theater Liberty Hall)
Dr. Strangelove
Memento

Dinner starts being served at 6pm, movie starts at 7pm. Cute, friendly waitress who splits everyone's ticket even when we all sit together. Great bartender. Big projection screen. Good people. Let's do it!

I'll have to see how my schedule plays out. I have bellydance class from 6:10 to 7:15 (or thereabouts). But since I'm already downtown, I might be able to make it and just miss the first part of the movie...I wonder if they'll notice if I sneak in my own food? No way I can eat that food (good as it was) every Tuesday. I'd have problems fitting in the front door after a month!

Found post, 'tis what I expected. As I'd stated earlier, it might have to become a fun necessity in the week. And of course, I'm happy to miss Blazing Saddles for the birthday celebration instead of any other title!

It's actually 6-9, but it might as well be 7-10, because it's at JCCC. It's not too bad, though, because I only have to do 3 hours of "lecture" time a week for a 4 credit hour class.

I'll be there, but after 7 as I have support group from 6-7 near the hospital.

I might even be there on the 3rd, as I'm not invited to the birthday bash.
