Yes, it always surprises me that Christians are much more likely to cite the laws of Moses than they are to bring up the Beatitudes. It's astonishing since they are the largest block of Christ's words.

Well, the fundies are, anyway, which seems to be true for fundies of all religions. I've always loved the Beatitudes, and yes, part of that is because they're mostly transcriptions: Historical documents, as the Thermians might say.
