Okay, so I've been pig-headedly wearing two matching items of footwear all week. As of last night, with the throbbing foot, I decided that was a bit premature.
Back to the medical sandal today. I have an old, stretched-out pair of boots (Seattle folks: They're the ones I wore for paintball, lo these many years ago) that are roomy enough that they don't press against the healing bits. Unfortunately, they do flex when I step and that makes for soreness. Combine that with an unconscious method of walking that keeps the toes from touching down, and I now also have a sore ankle. Feck and arse.
On a brighter note, I visited the swap meet today briefly. Most vendors are still setting up, but it looks like it'll be a good one. Sunny and 81 degrees out now. Lovely day.
I'm feeling calm. That's about it.
