Astro-image of the day: stunning

The star clouds of Rho Ophiuchi glow with a wide variety of colors depending on the color of the stars that shine within the clouds or through them (reflecting or filtering the color) or set them alight (making them emission nebulae). Blue is mostly reflection, yellow is emission, and red could be either.

It's really unusual to get such a wide variety in a single astronomical object:
