Tonight at 7:00pm, Michael Chabon speaks at the Unity Temple on The Plaza Sanctuary (707 W 47th Street, Kansas City, MO; Phone: 913-384-3126).
Title of Event: Michael Chabon for Manhood for Amateurs.
It seems that you have to pay $26 plus tax to attend, for which you get (1) Stamped Ticket, (1) Guest Ticket, and (1) hardcover copy of Manhood for Amateurs to be autographed after the presentation (you can pay Rainy Day Books in advance on their site). But if you want to see him speak and want a copy of the book, it makes sense. See, isn't the Center nice for not charging when he visited last year? :-D

Chabon (pronounced "shay-bon") is a great guest and wonderful speaker. If you can make it, I recommend doing so.
