Maybe not studded, but something sturdier, with a better grip? I'm afraid the word "stud" in conjunction with the red Crossfire is just too attractive, law or no law.
I remember when we lived on Orchard Lane, not far from the Gunn house, and there was an ice storm. I thought, oh, fun--we can't drive, so I'll go outside and talk a walk in the sparkling fairyland of ice. Heh. I laughed at all the cars spinning sloooowly and helplessly until they drifted into a curb, and at their drivers' bug-eyed dismay. Then I tried to walk. . . . I, too, slid slowly, helplessly, down the hill until I fetched up against a tree and stopped myself. I ended up skittering home on hands and knees. Gives real meaning to the phrase, "hog on ice."
