Letter to Bush from Misia

If you have never read misia's LJ, you oughta. She's a writer with seemingly infinite writing energies. Regarding the current flap over gay marriage, she wrote a letter to Bush:

I saw Pat Robertson on CNN talking about how gay marriage will lead to bestiality, child marriage, father-son marriage, and so on. Far-right religious conservatives seem to beleive this, too, even though it is illegal to fornicate with kids or ponies or anyone who is intellectually incapable of agreeing to sexual union. I mean, come on.

I doubt not for one minute that Robertson would be okay with several of those definitions of marriage that misia listed. Creepy guy.

You know, I've been reading those PatRob quotes you linked, and holy crap, that guy's a true lunatic. How is it that millions of people actually give him millions of dollars to continue spewing his filth?

Oh yes, he is indeed. He is one of those reasons why I have such a very difficult time keeping the misanthropy at bay. He's a multimillionaire, and he's just the worst kind of villainous, insane scum. I personally put him on the same scale as Hitler, only fortunately he hasn't shown the same kind of cunning in manipulating the masses as good ol' Adolf. If you were to read his "New World Order" book, for instance, it would likely turn a few hairs white. Check it out at the library! Seen "A Handmaid's Tale"? Yessirreee, Bob.

Another favorite factoid about the Man of God in question is that he has been buddy-buddy with several African dictators, and maintained an interest in the diamond mines of the Congo. If you know anything about the conditions of workers in the diamond mines, you'll see what a truly depraved cynic this s.o.b. is.
