Hi folks -

Who's going to the Nebs this coming weekend? Those of you who are, who wants to go to the Natural History Museum?

I'm booked up for Friday, but perhaps Saturday some time or early Sunday?

I attended only a few times, but I miss the Nebulas almost as much as I miss the Locus Awards. I must return to conventions, and I'm not sure I can wait until World Fantasy 2008 comes close to me.

And if I were there, I'd be utterly up for the Natural History Museum. On my few visits to New York, I never got to do the big visits.

Ah, the dinosaurs there are the first I ever saw -- they have a huge exhibit.

That'd be interesting... but unfortunately, I'll be booked.

I won't be there for the Nebs, but I went to the museum when I was in New York a couple of weeks back. When I lived in New York, I was there on a regular basis. May I make some suggestions?

You must, you specifically must see a show at the Rose Center for Earth and Space planetarium. Make the time. Don't just walk around the structure and point. See a show. It'll blow your socks off.

Also, you specifically must go see the dinosaur exhibits (the Fossil Halls). You will squee. Also? The Hall of Meteorites.

This all may seem obvious, but I'm here to testify! ::grin::

Not interested in the museum, sorry, but email me (or just reply here) your schedule so we can find time to connect.

Right now I'm planning on attending the reception and the awards ceremony but I'll probably find something else to do for dinner (better food, more options, less money) unless everyone else is going to the banquet.
