Whoa (channeling Keanu here.) That is amazing... is it the first recorded Mars weather? Cuz I haven't see pics or read stories of anything else, even the rumored ice.
But what does it mean? If dust devils, then... convection? Hot/cold air fronts, high/low pressure? Neat.
A year or so ago NASA had a video of a Mars dust devil. Mainly it was just a series of frames making a crude movie, but you could see the funnel traveling across the plain below the hill where Spirit was at the time. Fascinating.
