Sad news: We've lost Madeleine L’Engle. Her A Wrinkle in Time is the first novel I can remember reading.

Well, fuck. I loved that whole series. A Wrinkle In Time remains the favorite book I ever read as a child, hands down. It's what got me interested in science fiction to begin with. Damn.
