This is too cool. After studying Velociraptor bones, scientists have decided that it seems the good ol' 'Raptor had feathers. Here are the bones:

I wrote about this in a report I did for an Age of Dinosaurs class during my schooling. Kind of neat to see it confirmed.

They had one of these skeletons at the dinosaur museum in Fruita, Colorado. It looked about the size of a dog. Then I read the part about the feathers. Not so scary, true, but they are called "raptors." I wasn't surprised. There is also a really cool fossilized impression of a feathered dino at the KU Natural History Museum. I am such a dino-geek!
