If you're an active SFWA member, nominating works for the Nebula Awards has finally gotten so simple that we no longer have an excuse not to nominate things. Check it out! (Note that you need to have a current membership in the organization to log in to that part of the site.) If a work you have read is on the list, you can just click the title, add your name and email address, and viola! You've rec'd the work. If it's not on the list, it's simple enough to just fill in the form and hit Submit. You don't even have to know all the publication info for your recommendation to count.

Why rec stuff? Well, very few people do it, so the more who do, the better cross-section of work that gets represented. Also, because so few people rec stuff, a lot of very worthy work never reaches the final ballot.

If you haven't nominated anything this year, your excuses have evaporated... unless you didn't read anything, that is. And if so, shame on you. I've been as guilty of this as most of us, but I'm going to change that now.

Best,
Chris
