Don't forget that Michael Chabon is here in Lawrence next week!

"Conquering the Wilderness: Imaginative Imperialism and the Invasion of Legoland," A Hall Center for the Humanities Presentation. He's also giving an informal talk the next morning at the Hall Center on the KU Lawrence campus.

His award-winning books include The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay and The Yiddish Policemen's Union.

*sigh* It's happening on the one and only night that I have to work this month! Our Board of Commissioners meeting is every 4th Monday.

But my old colleagues from Oread Books will be there, selling books for his signing afterwards.
