Recalling your post of yesterday, as I took the dog out this morning I turned my gaze to the predawn sky, locating the constellation of Orion. Alas, I saw no meteors, though there were scattered clouds occluding part of the view.
Too bad, though sounds like a nice time enjoying your new pup. I've never watched this show, so I can't report on the frequency of meteors. But most showers reward patience and dark skies!
I was outside at 5:45 this morning staring at the patch of clear sky to the south. I saw ONE meteor. I was so glad I saw one because I would have been late to work if I had stayed out there watching any longer.
