I do read a bunch of them - usually, you're pretty safe reading everything on the Nebula list. Just take a look at the book description before buying, though, to ensure it's your cup o' tea. Handily, many of the stories have links.

This is a great example of the "practical" side of awards: Lots of people don't think they do any good. Well, it appears that at least five more books were sold due to the list ;-)
