I neglected to mention that I shared a romantic, candle-lit dinner last Friday with Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius. Also with her Secret Service agents (one of whom frowned at me), SF Grand Master James Gunn, KCUR's Stephen Steigman, his wife and Chair of KU Film & Media Studies Tamara Falicov, a hundred other KU Dean's Club members, and other folks being honored with the KU Distinguished Alumni Award: Bill James, Ann Hamilton, and Steve Mills. (Gunn was honored with the award in 2008.)

It was our first date, but Kathleen's not returning my calls ;-)

I ignored my invitation. Schedule conflict.

I'm grateful for your reducing the competition for her attention.

I think it's the Secret Service's job to scowl at everyone.

Hate to break it to you, but you've got some stiff (heh heh) competition.

Hm. That might be a problem. But their kiss doesn't look very passionate. I'm thinking no chemistry there.

You can do better.

Oh wait, you already did. :P

If I had mad Photoshop skillz, I would so 'shop a photo of you smoochin' on Sebelius.

It's in the job description. "Look menacing and frown."
