Much fun -- but one hitch: They aren't able to find a DVD of this movie anywhere, so they asked if one of us could bring the disk tonight. Anyone?

Now on to next week: Star informs us that author and musician Steven Brust is coming to town next week on a personal visit and Tombstone is his favorite film. Everyone up for that?

Best,
Chris

Great on both counts. If you're going to be there tonight before 7, why don'tcha bring that DVD!

Thanks,
Chris

I have a copy of Tank Girl, also it on VHS and the soundtrack somewhere I think...

I'll have it at my office, but will have to show for the movie late due to work.

Ha! Gotta love etymology-nerds and the people who x-ref them. Thanks -- I guessed that might be it by context, but had no idea.

Looks like [livejournal.com profile] worldforger might be able to bring it; check for his response later today (above). They were able to find VHS, but no DVD, and they can't play VHS at EightOneFive... the world has gone digital!

Definitely up for Tombstone, especially for such an occasion.
