It was very difficult for me to do anything without my parents noticing, alas ... small house, small garden, ah, suburbia UK-style.
I can't believe you managed to miss Captain Scarlet. But possibly I'm a little prejudiced here as it was my favourite show when I was young. I much preferred it to Thunderbirds, which was a form of heresy.
