It's supposed to be nice tomorrow, so I thought I'd go outside and check to see if it's cleared up, and it has...the moon is not as big as I thought it would look, but it is super BRIGHT. Was that part of the deal?

Absolutely: Because of math, 13% bigger is 30% brighter! The bigger part allows you to see details that your naked eyes can't normally see.

I just mosied out there to check it out again, I have to say it's pretty cool. Very bright & yes I can absolutely see the darker moon-shapes.
