It's the 19th of March. And it's not just snowing, but the stuff is PILING down. Even now, about half an hour after I took this little 5-second video, the flakes are still dumping out of the sky.

Tomorrow is Spring, right?

I don't expect it'll stick around long, but... *sigh*

(Just having a little fun while testing out some video-making software. My first time using titles and sound!)

I'll say it again: Nature is an asshole.

Back in....1986, I think it was, Dodge City got hit with a blazing lizard that brought in 3 feet of snow-on the first day of spring. Nothing moved for nearly a week.

Oddly enough, the sun is shining away here, and it's 53 degrees, according to the internet. So it shouldn't last too long!

Heh.

Added two more items to this post! It's EDIT-LJ-POST-DAY! SNOW MAKES PEOPLE CRAZY!

WHOAH!

Huh. Yeah, still huge flakes coming down in Lawrence....

Blazing Lizard is possibly the best word combo I'm going to see today.

I tried looking up the term, but all I find is a game company....

Whups. I left off part of her name!

It actually is malinaldarose.

Oh, sorry - it's her equivalent to a raging blizzard!

I am so stealing that 58% gif when I get home, so I can post it everywhere!

Your mini vid is FUNNY!!!

I don't know a whole bunch of folks who think gays shouldn't marry, but I live in Portland. Did you hear about Michelle Shocked? A local Portland venue cancelled her show because of the asinine comments she made in San Fransisco.

Anyhoosie. I'm going to go and enjoy the flowers on my cherry tree...YOU can go make a snow-person.
:P

Meanwhile, in Houston, it was 78 degrees. It was 86 the day before. =P

Wow, I did not know that singer and now I'm really glad for that.

Enjoy your lovely weather :-p

Oh, sure, rub it in.

Today's it's sunny and lovely... and we're expecting another inch or three of snow tonight.
