...So I was thinking it would be fun to, as one LJ friend said, "spoil her rotten."

Y'all (in town, anyhoo) up for a get-together on Tuesday? Could be simple like going out to dinner and chatting the night away, or similar such. I'm afraid our place won't yet be ready to entertain (if the grout is even dry yet).

Ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

well, what would Kij enjoy doing? I think that's the more important question.
I've got that eve open, yay!

oh wait!
Tues night is the night that 815 (the bar formerly known as Raoul's) is showing Monty Python and the ...Holy Grail!
Several of us discussed going there for drinks and the movie (which is freely shown on the bar wall)... would that be of interest?

Yes, there was a plan to go watch that- but there are other weeks for movies if a plan is made otherwise. I have offered to bake her a wheat free cheesecake, and take her to a sushi lunch :>

Well, Roya beat me to it but if 815's movie night is not to Kij's liking, I can catch a show the next week. Count me in.

We could call ahead and find out if they will be serving dinner for the movie night. I hear that sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.
Maybe with an advance reservation, we could even have din-dins there.

Done. We have reservations for 8 under "Kij McKitterick," just in case. He said they don't get that busy, but I thought it would be best to plan ahead.
