From a tip by [livejournal.com profile] saycestsay. Seems we are in the 'Mer'can (as W calls it) counterpart of late-1930's Germany. Where is the "liberal press," which should be screaming about this from the rooftops? Oh, wait, I guess they wouldn't scream for long, would they?

I guess by posting this, I'm putting myself at risk of arrest and detention. This is America?

Good Luck,
Chris

Yes, but you need to spell it right--we're in Amerika, now. Welcome!

Ahhhh...my cyberpunk dystopia has finally arrived.

Nice to re-meet you this eve. Game Geeks, unite! I hope I don't regret Perkins :)

Heh, I'm regretting it already: Nothing like a big, tasty malt to keep one far more alert than one would like to be at 3am...

Good to re-meet you too!

Re: And more bad political stuff

I had not seen that article.
althought I had most of those ideas loaded in my head, that article ran then toghter as a tight unit, and I am more deeply disturbed on the political fron than I was when i awoke this morning.

Seriously, I probably needed that.

Hair raising, isn't it? I had been thinking of some worrying parallels, but when you have someone like that line it up for you, the blood just goes cold. What was really chilling for me was that he laughed when the interviewer asked him about ways to resist it.

More Falk, if you're feeling up to it : http://www.transnational.org/forum/meet/2003/Falk_FascistEmpire.html

Pax Americana.

Damn, what kind of party did I miss, and how come no one invited me?

Perkins?!!!

Oh, yeah. Article terrifying.

Not to mention, now I'm afraid of you too Chris, because you might be a terrorist.

But no more afraid than I am of myself, because I must be a terrorist too!!!!

Heh, it wasn't a gaming thing, just one of those late-night "gotta eat" moments. Chatted until gawd knows, what, 2am?

Sorry for it at 6am, cuz I couldn't stop reading...
