That was not friendly on the ears. I heard Hawking was a jackass. Also that his wife abuses him, but then again I also heard it the other way around that he abuses his wife (verbally of course). With accusations like that you pretty much have to believe them without evidence.
Yeah, I try to ignore the personal life of those I admire. One of the mixed blessings of SF conventions is that you get to meet your favorite authors... mostly that's good, but sometimes you wish you hadn't.
I know what you mean. I'm pretty indifferent towards Stephen Hawking, I just thought it was funny that thats the kind of talk you heard out of physicists (jealousy?).
Cool. I've been into the nerdcore stuff for a while now. I even got to interview MC Frontalot on our podcast over at WANC (We Are Not Cool). He's supposed to be coming out with a documentary of his first tour sometime soon too. I also heard that he just released his second album.
