EDIT: Oooh, and here's a revised picture of the cover:

Best,

One wonders how they managed to miss Vincent diFate, who is NASA's official artist.

Y'know, one of my favorite artists is DiFate... and I have an original he did for my Analog story, "Paving the Road to Armageddon," hanging in my office. I suspect he simply did not sign on to the project, but you'd have to ask Eric.

Oh, yes, I love his works. Many others such as Robert McCall, William K. Hartmann, Pat Rawlings, Pamela Lee. But there's a chance, of course, that Visual Journeys will be just the first volume....

Y'know, DiFate did the art for at least one of my Analog stories, and I own one piece. It would be a wonderful turn-around to write a story for one of his pieces!

Hay Chris-- Congrats on the TOC and the anthology. Looks great. And just FYI, Burstein's LJ handle is [livejournal.com profile] mabfan

I will definitely be picking up a copy of this at the Campbell Conference. It looks great. Right up my alley--I hope there is a volume II (think it would be invitation-only?).
