I hope they name it "Williamson Spaceport" rather than the boring "Spaceport America."

Hm, good question! I know there's a movement among SF folk to use "Williamson" in the name....

Aren't there already about 35 private spaceports in the US? I think that is what the lady in charge of the licensing agency said at the Heinlein Centennial. This is a nice piece of publicity, and maybe they mean a public-access port, which none of the current ones including thi\eirs is, but I don't think it's accurate.

(a) AT&T Space Port - brought to you by Cingular
(b) Six Flags over Spaceport
