To find out, take this quiz. It's very well-designed, matching the issues you care about to candidates. Each issue has a link to more information; you select whether or not you support each issue (or choose Unsure), then rate them High / Medium / Low in importance. You also get to select who you're planning to vote for; I did not do that, because, well, who knows at this point? At the end, viola! Here's your perfect candidate.

My top match (of course, because I never match a winner):
Ohio Representative Dennis Kucinich (D) - 93.10% match

Others, in order of maching-ness:
Former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel (D) - 84.48%
Former North Carolina Senator John Edwards (D) - 72.41%
New York Senator Hillary Clinton (D) - 68.97%
New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson (D) - 67.24%
Delaware Senator Joseph Biden (D) - 65.52%
Illinois Senator Barack Obama (D) - 65.52%
Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd (D) - 62.07%
Texas Representative Ron Paul (R) - 41.38%
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) - 31.03%
Arizona Senator John McCain (R) - 24.14%
Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson (R) - 22.41%
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (R) - 20.69%
Businessman John Cox (R) - 13.79%

"Bottom of the barrel," as they say:
Colorado Representative Tom Tancredo (R) - 13.79%
Kansas Senator Sam Brownback (R) - 3.45%
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R) - 2.59%
California Representative Duncan Hunter (R) - 0.00%

I don't think I've ever had a purely 0% match before. Golly. Hunter must be pure spawn of the devil.

Who's your match? Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] roya_spirit for the link.

Arrrrr, matey! (almost forgot to add that in honor of today's the day)

Hmmm. Kucinich. Very interesting. Of the posts above that list their results, Kucinich seems to be the one. And a lot people I talk to say, "Yeah, I love him, but he's not going to win." And I say, "Would you just not worry about who's going to win and vote for who you WANT to win?"

Here's mine:

I hear ya. How does this "conventional wisdom" actually come about? I mean, did they think that way back when Lincoln was running? I think not.
