This post (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] arian1 for the tip) is very informative about how Iran's political system works. And it helps clarify just how powerless is Amadinejad. If Bush wants war with Iran, he can pretend that Amadinejad has real power; however, the facts argue against that, and our administration is fully aware of who is really in power over there.
