leavin' on a jet plane

Just a little more than an hour ago, I sent tatsuko_shikibu off to go live with her mom, kijjohnson. I've had custody of our cute little tortoise-shell kitty for the past 2-1/2 years, but Kij has been lonely for her. Tatsuko was so brave on the drive over to the airport, and she waited quietly in the air-cargo area, only giving little peeps now and then to ask for comfort. I hope she stays warm and comfortable in her blanket-filled carrier on the flight to Seattle. She's been such a comfort over the past few years. I miss her already.

EDIT: She has arrived safely and is settling in to Kij's apartment. That's such a relief!

What happened to Squanto!?

He's living with an ex. The house I bought didn't have a fence, and when I was preggos, I had really bad hip and back pain and then was put on restricted activity, so I had a really hard time taking care of Squanto especially since I couldn't walk him. So, he lives with his daddy now. I've had him back a couple of times for visits.
