The guy's actually from Seattle, so the local news did quite a bit of coverage on him. He is quite amusing, but he took a number of liberties with truth. I'm glad to see someone turn the leftovers of their life into humor for everyone. This has been my favorite ebay description of all time.
Yes, it's leftover from a marriage. But he does have kids, doesn't have a sister, and has a police record of domestic abuse. The article made clear that the wedding dress "story" was done for humor and that many parts of it are true. Sounded like quite a character in the newspaper article, too.
