last night's presidential debate

Last night, I hit my usual haunt (the dive-bar named, inexplicably, "Harbour Lights") with friends to watch the debate between Obama and McHate. For those of you who didn't see it, here's a visual cheat-sheet of how it went:

Oh man, I wish I could've watched the debate at Harbour Lights with you guys. That would've been more fun by a power of like a million than watching it at home alone and just getting more and more tense every time McCain spoke or made faces.

It's the only way I can watch these debates. The one with Palin? If I hadn't been with friends drinking beer, my blood pressure would have been through the roof.

Yeah, alcohol and friends played a huge role in my watching the Biden/Palin debate. I had to keep drinking because I just kept feeling angry and tense. I was drunk by the end--and still pissed off.

That's nothing compared to how we'll feel if somehow the Republican party manages to get her into the White House. Or the day after McCain succumbs to the pressure of the job and we end up with

I don't think McCain is a bad guy at heart, though he seems to have lost himself somewhere during this election. I thought a lot more highly of him eight years ago.

I don't want to jinx it, but I think Obama has this election in the bag. :)

True; when he faced off against Junior Bush a while back, he actually seemed to be more than just the lesser of two evils. Remember when he used to be against torture? Too bad the bad part of his party finally corrupted him.
