Alan Greenspan "Shocked" by Financial Crisis

Seriously? Isn't the 18-year-veteran head of the Federal Reserve maybe a wee-bit responsible? Unless he was only obeying orders, y'know.

During a US House Oversight Committee hearing, Greenspan said the financial crisis is a "once-in-a-century credit tsunami" that will severely harm the US economy and raise unemployment even more.

The man "made a mistake." I guess anyone can make a mistake.

It's just that I don't expect someone with a Ph.D. and that much power to make a mistake that goes on so long.
