Beautiful picture! Thanks.

FYI - for those of us who iconize pictures above a certain size, clicking on the picture gets us the picture, but not one that takes us to the site when clicked. But now that this comment exists, folks can click on the comments and get access that way. :<)

That's interesting! What is the "certain size" so I can make sure to make it that size?

That is configurable (in viewing options) - 0 (iconize all), 320x240 (my choice), 640x480. I haven't converted to the newer styles yet - don't know if they have more choices.

Every day, the pictures get more AWESOME and when I think there can't be anything prettier, something else amazing comes along.

This is beautiful. Dust in space, huh?

I agree - each of these is just magnificent to look at!

The cosmos is so fascinating!

Maybe we ought to do a Visual Journeys-type book of stories based on Hubble and the new ground-based telescope astronomy pictures like what you've been posting. They certainly stir the imagination.

That would rock! Do you remember the anthologies called "Planets" and "The Universe" by Bantam Spectra in the, what, 1980s or early 1990s? The used photographs, too. Neat idea! If Visual Journeys does well, I sense a series....

A series could be possible. VJ will be a good test I think.

Is it just me, or is space getting to look more and more like '70s SF covers...?

'Zackly. Now all we need to do is build the spaceships, and we're all living in an original Chris Foss...
