Do you? If so, what am I not getting? Mostly, I find "tweets" irritating and lacking in anything I'd want to read. Despite the cute name.

Me, too. I use Facebook mostly so people can find me (and set it up only because students asked me about why I wasn't on it), but my usual status note is about finding me at LJ ;-)
