Twitter: I don't get it.

Do you? If so, what am I not getting? Mostly, I find "tweets" irritating and lacking in anything I'd want to read. Despite the cute name.

I must not. Although I use email as much or more than anyone else, I don't chat/IM/SMS. In fact, although I've recently joined Facebook, I'm using it more as a learning experience than a chatting one.

So, what *is* the personality difference between a long-winded writer (like me) and a "chatter"?
