The Chinese government has not announced the identity of the space traveler, and the Xinhua dispatches did not specify how many astronauts, or "taikonauts," the craft would contain.

It Worked!
The Taikonaut is in orbit! I'm not sure why they are bothering with a big manned space program, but it makes great press. Touchdown in Mongolia tomorrow.
