*Anything* to get the ball rolling. I was going to suggest The Sparrow as a first book nomination. It *comes* with a publisher's study guide, which is nice, but it's also sort of touchy on the matter of Catholicism, so perhaps too controversial. But I would like to get started. Let me step aside while you toss that hat into the ring!

If I could read at any reasonable rate I might be able to do a book club but I can' only do book clubs that they announce the book about 2-3 months in advance.
