We have arrived safely, though barely. Holy wingtip-nearly-touching-the-runway, Batman! Apparently the Phoenix airport is famous for, shall we say, exciting landings.

Hugs to all,
Chris

Heh. Always the thing I hated most about flying into Phoenix -- the turbulence about 20-30 minutes from the airport.

Have fun this week. :)

Woooo! Yikes! Glad to know you got there safely and give a big hug to your sweetie for me :-)

Will do!

You made such a gorgeous dress for her, WOW! She'll be the prettiest girl at the ball.

Thank you,
Chris

Wow, happy landings, you Hairless-Americans. I never knew Sky Harbor had a reputation for exciting landings. I've flown in and out of there dozens of times (family in Scottsdale, which is the Apache word for "golf course," apparently), and never had a bad one.

In any case, have a good time. And good luck to the distaff Hairless-American.

I like the Tempe Mission Palms. I used to like to sit outside near the fireplace at night. *sigh* Sometimes I miss having a job that requires travel.

Ooh, we'll have to run down and check out that fireplace.

Doesn't your new home have a fireplace? Thought it did.

Yep. the new home has a nifty fireplace.

But there's something extra nice about sitting outside on a gentle night, in front of fireplace...nice tequila inspired drink...

I worked in Tempe for several months in a row. I could hardly stand the days, but the mornings and evenings were blissful.

Hope you're enjoying the convention. We're thinking of both of you. (as we so frequently do).

By the way, we have a nice guest room.

That sounds really nice - we'll certainly do that this weekend. Tonight, however, we're mostly hibernating before the con starts, and that's wonderful.

Oooh! It would be grand to stay at YOUR NEW HOME!

Hugs!
Chris
