I should have mentioned that I had good stuff today, too:

* Went to lunch with another faculty member; he has East-Coast and Chicagoan roots. Cool guy, and we have lots in common. Also, dude, India Palace!

* I'm meeting a friend tonight for some tabletop gaming... er, I mean, to blow up some 80-ton 'Mechs!

* Tatsuko is happy and healthy.

* Sophia-Mousey is the healthiest rodent ever. And has a new wheel. On which she can still almost give herself a full spin 'round using only the momentum of her tiny, blurring feet.

* I have good friends.

Okay, I feel better now.

Cool! And by the way... We probably still have room in our Wednesday night game if you want to play in a heavily modified WOD game (set during the rebuild from an ET attack on Earth). Right now we have a cyborg technomage, a "normal human" technomage, a Dreamspeaker, an unconventional Chorister, and two Changelings, one of whom used to be an android.

Isaac is running, meaning it is definitely better than the sci fi game I attempted to run.

Thanks so much for the offer! Unfortunately, I teach on Wednesday nights this semester. Just out of curiousity, when do you get started? Maybe I'd be done by then.
