So a few of us are going to go see the X-Men movie tonight at 10pm at the Southwind 12. Wanna join?

Best,
Chris

I would love to join if the commute was not so...hefty.~S~ (I am currently in Atlanta.)

Mayhaps another time, another movie?!

I can fully understand your hesitation in making such a drive just to see a movie you can probably catch down there *g* Another time!

I shall be at the Replay due to the hilariousness a part of spending my Thursday night drinking frozen drinks and watching a PINK FLOYD TRIBUTE BAND, with Richard Noggle and company, no less :)

What I meant to say was "otherwise, I would gladly be a part of this" (winkwink!)

I didn't know you were a fan of comic-book movies. Rockin'! Next time, you shall join us.

Neato! Enjoy, and remember that it's only a momentary lapse of reason that can bind a life to life.

From: [identity profile] acommonreader.livejournal.com

Oh my god. Did you just a) sound like my mother and b) imply something about a partcular kind (euphemizing, thanks) of lapsing judgment?!

Chris! I just made this sound: Aaaaaaaaaaa aaah!

From: [identity profile] acommonreader.livejournal.com

Note 1: Just in, and the night was innocent and wonderful and full of music and we found four more English-y people.

Note 2: Sunday evening will involve some bluegrass. Mmmmm, it is good for the heart, I am certain.

Note 3: Your laughing icon is my favorite. I love it.

1) Yay and yay! In fact, we ran into an English undergrad student at the IHOP afterward.

2) That depends entirely on the musicians, I would have to say. Could be downright harmful to the soul with the wrong musicians sawing their instruments. But let us hope for the Light Side of the Grass.

3) Thank you! That is me chatting with Benjamin Franklin, sitting on his lap; he just made a bawdy joke, you see.

I'm going to pretend that the sitting-on-his-lap reference made me blush. We both know it didn't, and that I will usually welcome bawdy jokes. They, my dear sir, are good for the heart :)

I'm looking for the DaVinci coding in your font markups but not finding it. Perhaps it's more along the lines of Sudoku.

If you are a show-offy brat, we shall never make it to "best friend" status.

This, this, m'dear: < >, < / >

You know, I have had a total of three vodkaish drinks, and then I came home, took out my computer and criticism, and began working. This compulsion! What is wrong with me?!

From: [identity profile] mckitterick.livejournal.com

Excellent! Will you be using the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen bridge generator I sent you for Christmas? You got that, right? I never heard back from you about it. It's in beta-testing now, and you ought to apply those patches I sent this morning, just in case... heh heh, just do it and don't ask any questions. (The good news is that nobody probably remembers what happened off the coast of California yesterday, heh.)

Well not if you keep TALKING about it!!

I'm adjusting the Illudium Pew-36 mudulator as we speak...

From: [identity profile] mckitterick.livejournal.com

True, true. I certainly hope you mean the Illudium Pew-306 modulator (if you're messing with the 36, there might not be a California tomorrow).

Oh, I have to work tomorrow, or I would be tempted.

Watch for the pants!

From: [identity profile] mckitterick.livejournal.com

Y'know, that's something we were talking about afterwards. Them thar are X-Pants! Super-X-Pants! Else, how would they survive when all else vaporizes? Pants'o'Dooooom!

A few of us already saw it at the 8:10 show. We missed you.

I heard nothing, nothing! about this planned gathering. Was this an LJ posting that I missed (on account of trying to get my books finished by this weekend and thus not reading LJ)?

From: [identity profile] geekmom.livejournal.com

I'm not sure. All the planning happened when I wasn't reading much LJ myself, on account of trying (and failing) to get that About position.

Speaking of crazy busy, I may want to pick your brains at some point. I'm thinking about writing an instructional manual on podcasting, and I'd like to get some tips on writing proposals. Going through About prep, I realized I had an outline for all the chapters and the knowledge to write them.

sorry, there wasn't a LJ posting - originally pooch and I were going with JK on sunday but that didn't happen so the he crocet group was taking Pooch out for dinner & movie on thurs. I commented in kerris' posting about the movie that we also almost went sunday and she mentioned wanting to see it again. Harold made a comment about seeing it and I meentioned we were going they asked waht time since they had a sitter thursday night and I said we were having dinner beforehand. Then it was determined that it was easier for yosa to connect with them at dinner. so went to a group without it being planned as a group thing. I'm sorry that since it ended up being a group thing that people got left out

Oh, no biggie, it just sounded from these posts that I had missed seeing an LJ call for movie-ing!
