This morning, we lost yet another of our genre's greats: Philip José Farmer. He was 91.

I was first introduced to his work via To Your Scattered Bodies Go, book one of the incredible Riverworld series. His work inspired experimentation in my own writing, opening up my notion of what is science fiction. I never got to meet him.

The world is poorer without him.

Best,
Chris

I wish I'd had the chance to meet him. I never realized he lived so close to me!

His, "A Feast Unknown", really opened my eyes as to the relationship of Doc Savage and Tarzan. True classic, that.
