Zombies on the prowl in Lawrence tonight!

If you live in or near Lawrence, don't miss tonight's Downtown Lawrence Zombie Walk! The event runs - rather, shambles - from 8:30pm to 10:00pm, with zombies gathering and finishing at the gazebo in South Park. If you plan to become zombified yourself, show up a little early.

Here's a story about last year's event. I'm thinking of watching the walk from the safety of Harbour Lights or perhaps Jackpot Saloon if I can find a table near the window.

400+, my attempts to count were much like standing in the middle of a marathon race with a counter trying to figure out how many people were there. But over 400 is a good guess. I'm looking into ways to get a more accurate count next year.

I was going to do zombie walk this year with Ada, but I'm chickening out due to the cold and my persistent cough, which gets worse in the cold.

Your idea is a good one though. I wonder if I could convince _mac_ to stay home with both kids so I can sit in a bar and watch it. Hmmmm...

I wish I'd have brought my new camera - it has a video setting. Someone (or some-seven of them) made movies, including of the "Thriller" re-enactment. Awesome.
