They're lucky the whales didn't drag them off the boat and eat THEM instead.

The news this morning clarified the story a bit: Now they suspect that it was her long hair flying around and bumping him on the snout that got his attention, and that he grabbed that and pulled it under... and she was attached.

I'm sorry, but long hair does not bump anything. They're just trying to cover their asses so they can continue the killer whale shows.

That's ridiculous. She was massaging him, she already had his attention.
Besides the witnesses state that he grabbed her by the waist and was tossing her around in his mouth.

MY first thought when I saw the teeny tank was also "no wonder he wants to kill someone." Then I also had the thought "he may just be big bumbling fella didn't mean any harm and was playing with her."

Sadly, I was under the impression the creatures are "housed" in large pools attached to the ocean waters.

But little penguin! awwwww. Clever birdie.

LOL - not surprisingly, I cringed when I wrote "agree with PETA" myself. ;)

No kidding. One of the orcas was eyeing 'em, too. "Hmmm, not familiar, but look edible..."
